Music Education (K-12)

The major in Music Education provides students with educational theory, methods of teaching and management principles and practices. This teacher preparation program has a broad foundation in many academic areas and specialization in all general areas of music.
                        
Students who complete this major are prepared for further study at the graduate or professional level. This degree program requires a minimum of 131 semester hours and may require an additional semester for completion.
